The Black community on the east side of Buffalo, New York, has been trying to heal since a gunman went on a shooting rampage at a Tops Supermarket on the city’s east side. The gunman killed 10 Black people while streaming it on social media.
Since that day, the Buffalo community has taken steps to heal, but the healing process is far from over. Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown shared with BIN the steps he and others have taken to help the community heal.
